The Vinternet

I'm James Vinter, a front-end web developer with over 15 years' experience creating professional websites and web applications for public and private sector organisations. My background has predominantly been in secure communication (data encryption), online payments for the financial services industry and building digital services for the UK Parliament. I have a keen interest in web accessibility and enjoy the challenges of creating robust, semantic and inclusive online experiences.

I have worked on many different projects utilising numerous technologies over the years and I have curated a selection of practical examples which cover many aspects of my front-end website development. All examples have working demonstrations and their relative source code can be found and forked from my Github repository.

Outside of my professional life I have passion for music and own an extensive collection of physical and digital media (vinyl, cassettes, the lot!) spanning a wide range of genres. I am active on Discogs where you can view my collection and on Bandcamp where you can listen through my purchased playlist.

If you would like to get in touch please email me at james@thevinternet.com. You can also find me on LinkedIn, follow me on Twitter or take a look through my GitHub repositories.
